What this site is, and what we do not promise
Our positioning rests on one commitment: we do not sell financial outcomes. This page makes that binding, and separates operational advisory from legal, tax, accounting, insurance and compliance advice.
General information only
Everything on this website describes our services and shares general thinking about running a transport company. None of it is advice about your business.
We write about problems we see across owner-led carriers, freight brokerages and dispatch operations. Your company is not those companies. Do not act on anything here without checking whether it fits your situation.
We do not promise results
We do not guarantee any financial, operational or commercial outcome, whether you read this site, download the Owner-Dependency Audit or engage us for work.
Any figures, ranges, benchmarks or examples on this site or in our materials illustrate a point. They are not forecasts and not a promise of what your company will achieve.
Results in transport depend on freight rates, fuel and insurance costs, customer behaviour, driver availability, your team, your decisions, your market and conditions nobody controls. We help you manage the parts you can control. We cannot control the rest, and we do not claim to.
Not legal, tax, accounting, insurance or compliance advice
We advise on operations and management. We are not lawyers, accountants, tax advisers, insurance brokers, safety consultants or regulatory compliance specialists.
Nothing here replaces advice from a qualified professional in those fields. Before you act on any regulatory, contractual, tax, employment, safety or insurance matter, speak to someone licensed to advise on it.
The Owner-Dependency Audit
The audit is a self-assessment tool. It helps you notice where your business still depends on you.
It is not a full operational review, not a diagnosis and not a valuation. It does not analyse your finances, your contracts or your compliance position. Treat the result as a starting point for a conversation.
Engagements are governed by their own contract
If you become a client, a signed engagement letter sets out what we will do, what we will not do, what you must provide and what each side is responsible for. That document governs the work.
Where this website and a signed engagement disagree, the engagement wins.
Third-party content
We sometimes reference market conditions, industry figures or public commentary. We do not verify third-party sources and we do not adopt their conclusions. Where we cite an estimate, we say so.
Testimonials and examples
Any example, scenario or description of past work on this site is generalised and anonymised. It describes a type of situation, not a named client, and it predicts nothing about your outcome.
Your decisions remain yours
You own your company. You make the decisions. We provide analysis, structure and, where a client asks for it, agreed operational management within a defined scope. Responsibility for running your business stays with you and your team, except where a signed engagement transfers a specific duty to us.
